About
Michael Fisher is a co-founder and the primary operator of DeVerre. Mike earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University and has received international honors and awards for his glass artwork. It was his vision of glass stone that fueled the development of the DeVerre Elements product line.
In 2007 he remodeled his home in Pennsylvania, incorporating stone into the fireplaces and accent walls. When designing the kitchen, he wanted to continue the look of stone but realized how impractical that natural or engineered stone would be as the back-splash. With an extensive background in glass, he decided to design and develop a process for making a “glass stone veneer.” His creation was truly an innovation in the tile and stone industry.
Today, Fisher and his team of skilled craftsmen continue to design and produce glass in the form of natural elements. DeVerre’s highly-sustainable operations can be found in an idyllic setting in the mountains of Southcentral Pennsylvania.
