Installation
Installing DeVerre Elements is similar to installing tile or stone veneer. Simply “back-butter” each element with a colored mortar and press the element onto an approved substrate. Since our products are clear with texture, using a colored mortar adhesive brings your elements to life! Choose one or more colors from the Laticrete color chart, mix the pre-colored grout(s) with the 4237 Latex additive in a bucket, then apply to the backs of each element. Monochromatic (one color) or multiple color installations can be matched to the space or other present materials such as cabinetry, wall color, or counter tops. The guide also contains a section on Glass on Glass or Mirror installations – a clear glass adhesive system to adhere the elements to plate glass, mirrors, or flat metal materials. This method of installation opens the book to specialty architectural features and lighting designs.
